Middle Earth is a youth development nonprofit serving Somerset County, NJ. Our caring staff builds trusting relationships with youth to help them make positive decisions, obtain marketable skills for employment, serve the community, develop leadership, improve academics, learn respect, and connect with more services, if needed. We strive to ensure that youth receive the support they deserve to be successful in life.

Middle Earth youth perform more than 2,000 hours of community services in Somerset County every year.

In 2023, 89 youth learned skills to obtain employment and succeed at work.

In 2023, 95% of parents felt the afterschool program had a positive impact on their family.

In 2023, we received almost 9,000 visits to our community youth centers. 86% of youth found the program to be helpful.

In 2023, 276 students received mentoring which improved their self-esteem and confidence.

In 2023, 96% of high school seniors in our college readiness program enrolled in a college in the Fall.
