eventsMiddle Earth hosts a variety of events throughout the year that raise funds, encourage volunteerism, celebrate our programs or increase awareness for the agency. We hope you'll consider joining us - you can have fun and support your community at the same time! Our events are:

Reception at the United States Golf Association Museum

Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Join us for a wonderful evening with beer, wine, and heavy hors d'oeuvres; antique golf club putting green contests; guided museum tours; silent auction; and some presentations from the Middle Earth youth. Tickets are $100 per person with all proceeds benefiting the youth programs at Middle Earth. Online ticket purchase is available or you can mail us a check.

"Run from Winter" 10K Race

Sunday, April 23, 2017

Middle Earth hosts a 10K run through Duke Island Park every Spring. The event raises funds for Middle Earth and fills a void in the local area for races that are longer than 5K but not a half marathon. Prizes for top winners and t-shirts for all racers are distributed. Get more information by visiting our event page.

A Night At the Ballpark

Every July, the Somerset Patriots host "Middle Earth Night" at TD Bank Ballpark! Families can enjoy a great ballgame, Middle Earth raffles, field activities for the youth, and fun for the whole family! And, there is a FIREWORKS show after the game! Tickets ($10) purchased from Middle Earth helps support our youth programs.

Somerset County 4-H Fair

Every August, visit Middle Earth's hamburger stand at the Somerset County 4-H Fair at North Branch Park, encouraging volunteerism among our youth and raising funds for our agency. You can support us by purchasing food from our tent or volunteering to help with the food preparation!
