Charity Kickball Tournament
Saturday, October 17, 12 noon - 5 p.m.
The community is invited to relive the fun of a favorite childhood sport at Middle Earth’s Kickball Tournament, which is set for the third Saturday in October at Exchange Field, 1 Green Street, Somerville. All of the event proceeds will support Middle Earth's programs that guide youth towards responsible adulthood and bright futures full of hope.
You can register online now or on the day of the event beginning at 11:30 a.m. Registration is $25 per player, and you must be 18 years old to play. There is no cost to come out and cheer on the teams. Game length may vary by round depending on the number of teams in the tournament. Teams are guaranteed to play at least one game. Kickball fields become available for open play at 2:00pm. Food, a live DJ and other activities will be available throughout the day!
Sunday, November 15th, 12 noon
The community is invited to a fun fiesta at SOL Mexican Cantina in Branchburg, where guests can visit 7-8 food stations that will pair a different craft beer with a different menu item. There will also be a football pool, silent auction, and our youth's projects on display. All proceeds benefit Middle Earth.

"Run from Winter" 10K Race
Middle Earth hosts a 10K run through Duke Island Park on the third weekend in March. The event raises funds for Middle Earth and fills a void in the local area for races that are longer than 5K but not a half marathon. Prizes for top winners and t-shirts for all racers are distributed. Get more information by visiting our event page.
A Night At the Ballpark
Each summer, the Somerset Patriots host a "Middle Earth Night" at TD Bank Ballpark! Families can enjoy a great ballgame, fireworks afterwards, Middle Earth raffles, field activities for the youth, and fun for the whole family! Tickets ($10) purchased from Middle Earth helps support our youth programs.
Somerset County 4-H Fair
Middle Earth hosts a hamburger stand every August at the Somerset County 4-H Fair at North Branch Park, encouraging volunteerism among our youth and raising funds for our agency. You can support us by purchasing food from our tent or volunteering to help with the food preparation!
